Do the right thing: Futureproof speaks at D&AD Sharp'ner
Sian presented our thoughts on car advertising and CO2 at a D&AD discussion on Wednesday.
We Are Futureproof's Sian Berry presented the results and recommendations from our work on car advertising to D&AD's 'Sharp'ner' event on 9th November.
With an audience of creatives and designers, she asked them to help come up with a format for marking up car adverts with CO2, fuel costs and other impacts that would be more effective at getting across the info at a glance, and also nice to look at!
The topic of the event was sustainability in communications, and other speakers talked about their work in promoting real sustainability in industries like publishing, manufacturing and communications, and how creative 'design thinking' can make saving and re-using resources an integral part of what we do. There were lots of very interesting questions in the follow-up session as well.
